to help you measure on the wheel to create consistent sets of pots, bowls, mugs, and more. Use the measuring side of the ruler to make subtle lines in your wall. Trim at the mark you’d like and then smooth away the lines with the opposite side of the ruler. You can leave the lines on for a bit of texture or use this at your bench to mark and cut while you’re hand-building.
All of the Garrity tools are made from woods that hold up well against use and water; and are finished with mineral oil.
They are designed to get messy, but it's recommended you don’t leave your tools soaking in water for very long and they should last for several years.
If your tool does get really wet, it could warp. If you dry it out for a day or two on a flat surface, it should be back to normal
