The Stainless Steel Extruder has a fixed-pivot non-detachable handles with sponge rubber grips for safety. The plunger is hand-fitted to the barrel, which holds about eight pounds of clay. It is made of UHMW and held in place with stainless steel screws. It features a 4 inch square steel barrel tapered at the top for easy loading and comes with a long extension handle to give extra leverage for small extrusions or stiff clay. Usually mounted on a wall.

The North Star Stainless Steel Extruder Package has a stainless steel barrel. Only the handle and die contained are powder coated, so no possible source of contamination ever touches the clay, which makes this extruder better suited if you are working with pure white stonewares or porcelain clay.

Comes with the North Star Standard Extruder Basic Die Set which includes a Blank die plate, two separate round coil dies, small square, hex, and 2 ribbons and a die mask and also comes with the North Star Standard Accessory Die Set which includes a Large Coil Die, a large and small ribbon die, a Z-brace (which is needed for hollow die forms), 2 round hollow, 2 square hollow and 2 hex hollow dies.
